Join us in support of the Wellington Food Bank’s mission to provide food to local families in need and reduce your library fines up to $4 per visit ($1 per food item) when you donate any non-perishable food items
Looking for an easy way to pay off library fines and support the local community at the same time? Now through December 31st, Wellington Public Library invites you to pay off your fines with canned food instead of cash!
$1 for each item donated.
PLEASE NOTE: Damaged and/or expired food items will not be accepted. We also cannot accept items that must be refrigerated.
No fines? No problem! Drop off your donations during normal business hours, and WPL will bring them to the Wellington Food Bank.

Wellington Food Bank provides healthy supplemental food to local families and individuals in need of food assistance. Food distribution is on the 1st and 3rd Thursdays of each month. https://www.facebook.com/Wellington-Colorado-Food-Bank-111148762249068/
Items most needed by the Food Bank are peanut butter, canned chicken/tuna, cereals (whole grain preferred), chili with beans, canned beans, carrots, corn, peas, fruit and chunky style soups and regular or travel sized hygiene products. Other items will still be accepted.
Monetary donations can also be accepted.
