"Literature is my Utopia. Here I am not disenfranchised. No barrier of the sense shuts me out from the sweet, gracious discourse of my book friends. They talk to me without embarrassment or awkwardness."

—Helen Adams Keller (1880-1968) American memoirist, lecturer

Library People-Friends of Colorado Libraries Grant

Display of Concept Books

The library would like to thank “Library People-Friends of Colorado Libraries”, of Denver ( that awarded the library a grant to purchase materials that support early literacy and that focus on early language development, concepts, and cognitive pre-reading skills that prepare children for school success.  Some of the books we will be adding include books on vowel sounds, how to measure time, distances and weight, opposites, and shapes.

Thank you Library People.
