"Who knows why we live, and struggle, and die?... Wise men write many books, in words too hard to understand. But this, the purpose of our lives, the end of all our struggle, is beyond all human wisdom."

—Alan Stewart Paton (1903-88) South African writer, noted for novels Cry, the Beloved Country

Display of Concept Books

The library would like to thank “Library People-Friends of Colorado Libraries”, of Denver (http://www.librarypeople.org/index.html) that awarded the library a grant to purchase materials that support early literacy and that focus on early language development, concepts, and cognitive pre-reading skills that prepare children for school success.  Some of the books we will be adding include books on vowel sounds, how to measure time, distances and weight, opposites, and shapes.

Thank you Library People.
