"Nothing, it appears to me is of greater value in a man than the power of judgement; and the man who has it may be compared to a chest fulled with books, for he is the son of nature and the father of art."

—Pietro Aretino (1492-1556) Italian poet, writer, dramatist

Is a group of people who help support the Wellington Library.

Come Join the Friends of the Library.  Do you like to read?  How many times a month do you enjoy our library in Wellington?  The Friends are looking for new people that enjoy the library and would like to volunteer in any way.  They organize events like bringing in authors to speak about their books.  They support the library by buying books, hosting events and maintaining our ongoing book sale.  In Summer and Winter they support our reading programs.  If you have any questions you can contact MaryAnne Martell at 568-3401.
