Linda Dodds of Wellington passed away Aug. 8, 2015 in her home from illness. She was born in Humboldt, Neb., on Jan. 30, 1951 and was baptized at the Humboldt Methodist Church on Palm Sunday of 1963. Barbara Jane (Kern) Tuttle went to be with her Lord on July 26, 2015. “Bobbie” was born at home on Jan. 12, 1926, in Fort Collins to Harold and Ida (Spurlock) Kern. The City of Fort Collins Natural Areas Department has been awarded a grant of $10,000 from the History Colorado State Historical Fund. The grant will be used to fund a Historic Structure Assessment of the Great Western Sugar Company effluent flume and bridge, which spans the Cache la Poudre River on Kingfisher Point Natural Area.
